The Eggbutt cheek piece on the Bomber Eggbutt Ultra Comfy Lock Up Bradoon prevents pinching of the lips, gives a solid feel against the side of the face and will encourage flexion. It also prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower than the Loose Ring version of this bit and it will introduce light poll pressure.

The Ultra Comfy has been designed to suit very sensitive mouthed horses. The shape is such that it follows the contour of the horse’s tongue. The centre joint has been double locked to ensure that the angle over the tongue remains correct, even when the reins are taken up, and it retains the individual lateral aids.
